Welcome to my website. This site contains everything from my pets to cars. I have always been a muscle car fan. My dream car was the Corvette. But that dream is on hold until there is an electic or hybrid Corvette. I really am excited that a new era for automobiles is just around the corner. My fiancé recently purchased a 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid and I fell in love with the new technology. The electric mode is really impressive. This is technology that has been around for a long time but only recently is pressure mounting for its arrival. The car companies, oil companies and others have kept it out of consumers hands because of the greed of profits, and consumers lack of knowledge in the subject area.

Goodbye Gasoline!

I am no longer supporting gasoline powered cars. When I am ready to purchase a new car it will be electric. Why?
Here are the benefits of electric cars:

• Feels Faster - lots of torque right at 0 rpms

• Less maintenance - no oil changes, no regular part needing replacing

• No oil to get everything dirty - a clean work environment if you want to modify it

• No more trips to the gas stations

• Much cheaper to operate electricity costs an equivalent of 60 cents per gallon

• Less carbon emmisions (remember cars get charged at night when electricity demand is low, so little need for more power plants)

• Renewable energy can easily be used to generate the electricity needed

• Batteries are recyclable and last over 100,000 miles

• Eventually they will be much cheaper than cars today because there is less components

• Range of about 200 miles on one charge - great for daily driver
